Brentwood Town centre, or more commonly known as The Only Way is Essex, has had its lifeblood supply of fake tan sell out.
With temperatures soaring, shop owners have bizarrely seen the demand rise this month.
Cathy who has been working on the high street for two years said, “It’s strange n-it.”
Mick who has been pulling pints in a local pub said, “I can’t see anyone with a deep tan. This time of year I’m used to seeing gorgeous golden undertones from both our men and women.”
A cobra meeting planned by Brentwood Borough Council aims to work alongside other neighbouring counties to ensure the supply of fake tan meets the standard residents have come to expect.
